‘Disney’s’ Cinderella Kids
Joburg Theatre takes you on an adventure through most of the fairy tale stories we used to hear when we were children.

Joburg Theatre was the talk of the town on November 9 as children and their parents filled the seats to watch a true Cinderella fairy tale on stage.
Many who watched the show said that the setting and background was perfectly done setting the right mood and atmosphere for the show.
Characters included Cinderella (Emma Hayden), Prince Charming (Henck Conrey), Drizzela (Jaydene Marais), Stepsister (Candice Weber), Stepmother (Sanelisiwe Jobodwana), Fairy Godmother (Silindile Sibiya), King (Thabo Kunutu) and the Grand Duke (Sipho Hlongwane).
Cinderella is a kid’s tale about a soft hearted, friendly and loyal princess who is suppressed into slavery by her stepmother and two evil stepsisters who use and abuse her.
After all the eligible ladies are invited to a ball for Prince Charming to find his princess, Cinderella does not escape Prince Charming’s heart. She loses her glass slipper on her way home.
Prince Charming goes in search of the woman whose foot will fit the glass slipper and find his ever-after love… Cinderella.
All the characters performed their roles well and managed to tell the story for both child and adult to understand and enjoy. The children were mesmerised.
