Victim support for those who need it

Victim support for those who have suffered trauma from being involved in some kind of crime against them.

ALBERTON SAPS Victim Support is a non-profit organisation providing emotional support and free short-term counselling to victims of crime and violence to cope and deal with their traumatic experiences and circumstances.

They operate from the trauma centre, which is a room at Alberton SAPS allocated to Victim Support and is manned by volunteers. These volunteer counsellors work alongside a SAPS co-ordinator, a policeman or woman, allocated to victim support.

Anyone who is a victim of any kind of abuse can go directly to the Alberton SAPS Victim Support in Van Riebeeck Street at the Alberton SAPS.

They can also be contacted on 083 923 1967 or followed on Facebook.
