EMPD places second in Show Drilling Competition

EMPD's performance ordered them bikes and push-wheelers for training the youth.

The EMPD Drill Squad acquitted performed well at the 2018 Nasrec Rand Show Drilling Competition and finished second.

Competition was tough with squads from Gauteng Traffic Police, Tshwane Metro Police and Johannesburg Metro Police also taking place. JMPD took first position.

As a reward for coming second, the police metro received equipment worth R20 000 for their Junior Traffic Training Centres. The prize consisted of 30 bikes and 120 push-wheelers to be used in training primary school learners in road safety at the Junior Traffic Training Centres.
