Food parcels for CPF

CPF were the proud receivers of food parcels from Makro Alberton for doing their bit for the community.

ALBERTON – On December 10 Makro Alberton donated 21 paper bags of groceries to the Alberton CPF (Community Policing Forum) as presents to the reservists who are working tirelessly even if they do not get a salary and are unemployed.

The chairperson of CPF, Mr Dave Burt, received the present from Makro management with SAPS Lt Col S R Shiburi (Station Commander) and Const P B Mgedezi (Social Crime Prevention Officer) witnessing the handing over.

Alberton SAPS thank Makro for the presents and see it as a big contribution towards the reduction of crime and showing they care.

Alberton SAPS will organise a proper ceremony and invite all the qualifying reservists, Makro management and CPF to come and witness a handing over of those presents.
