Motoring community supports needy children

Big boss auto toy collection for children in need

BIG Boss Auto, its customers and supporters and the local Alberton community came together to collect toys for needy children in what was to be the sixth year that Big Boss Auto has driven their toy charity run. The run is an effort to open the hearts of the community to support local charities and be able to collect toys and much needed gifts to lift the spirit of children that would otherwise not receive gifts at Christmas time.

The toy collection resulted in a huge pile of good quality items totalling over 1000 gifts which were donated to Amcare in Alberton, Mary Moodley Home in Benoni and the Vereeniging Alliance for street children which will all benefit from the gifts. Included in the gifts were a large number of soccer balls which will definitely give many children many hours of pleasure.

Many of the donations came from customers who like to get together at a shop based in Alberton and show off their modified cars. This results in a good display for locals and other people interested in their cars to view and appreciate the modified cars and have a good time with other enthusiasts.

Big Boss Auto would like to thank everybody who came to the shop to donate the toys and gifts and rest assured that you have added a smile to many children lives. Thank you.
