WATCH: Angry protesters block off Eden Park roads

Children were used to place branches and tyres onto the road.

Earlier this Wednesday morning, April 17 protests were expanded in Eden Park. The protesters blocked off Packard Street, before Eden Park Secondary School.

Children were used to place branches and tyres onto the road.

EMPD was on the scene.

EMPD police officers clearing the road. More fires were started to block more entrances into Eden Park.

Protesters met with Eden Park SAPS and a peaceful protest continued after an appeal by the police captain to the community to open the roads.

The protesters have now dispersed.
