LIEZEL Blom, who is the founding partner of SA Teacher, has created Maths 4 Mommies (Daddies) to uplift Alberton community and to help parents and children understand the programme.
It is a fun, interactive facilitation programme for parents and children. Liezel has more than 21 years of experience in teaching and development. She is also the creator of mathematics material. Maths 4 Mommies (Daddies) helps children from grade RR up to Grade Six with mathematics.
Her main focus is to share her extensive knowledge with children and parents, and also to uplift the community of Alberton. “This is not only for children who struggle with mathematics; it is also for children who excel in mathematics.” Material for the course is provided at the sessions, which also include fun activities to be practiced with the children at home.
