Relay to support cancer initiative in SA

Relay For Life has taken South Africa by storm. In the past year, more than 100 communities participated in the event across South Africa.

CANCER Association of South Africa’s (CANSA) Relay For Life is a unique 12-hour, overnight event that offers everyone in the community the opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer.

It represents hope that those who are battling cancer will be supported, and that those who lost the battle to cancer will never be forgotten and that one day cancer will be eliminated.

CANSA’s Relay For Life in Alberton will take place on November 9 from 6pm to November 10 at 6am. There will be a special survivors’ reception taking place before the main event kicks off at 4pm at a school. For more information and registration forms please contact the CANSA staff partner, Tamara Wittstock, on either twittstock@cansa.org.za or 083 400 3223
