#IMadeMyMark: Be vigilant at voting stations

Check your ballot paper is filled in correctly and stamped on both sides.

VOTERS are advised to be extra vigilant when they go to make their mark on Wednesday, May 8.

A resident in the South and her husband went to cast their special votes at a school in the South and by chance noticed their ballot papers hadn’t been stamped on the reverse side.

“We approached the IEC officials, informing them and only then did they stamp the reverse side. Without being stamped on both sides we would have lost our vote and it wouldn’t be counted,” said the resident.
