Volunteers needed to fight hunger

SOUTHDALE Shopping Centre is inviting all members of the public to attend its initiative in conjunction with Rise Against Hunger on July 6.

The centre requires volunteers to come in numbers to help pack meals for the less fortunate as part of their drive for 67 minutes on Mandela Day.

Packed meals will be distributed to various charities including local ones with the aim to distribute three million meals in nine cities.

Get your friends and family together and gather at the Rage Court (next to the escalators) at 9.30am for registration for the 10am slot or at 11.30am for the 12 noon sessions.
