DOOR of Hope Children’s Mission received a financial boost of R46 000 thanks to a charity dance showcase.

Xtreme Dance Studio held a charity dance showcase on June 29 at Alberton High School and the money raised will go towards Door of Hope’s cause – to support the babies in their care.

The money was raised through admissions, sales, a raffle, and donations.

Dancers ranged across all ages, from little girls performing their first ballet moves to a grandmother dancing together with the younger people.

All dancers showed the crowd different styles, ranging from hip-hop and modern to contemporary and ballet.

Samantha Hinghley, the owner of Xtreme Dance Studio, thanked everyone for their contribution towards the worthy cause.

She especially thanked the dancers for making the day the success that it was.
