Rhino Powerlifting Club commemorates Women’s Month

Pit Bull Gymnasium women commemorate Women's Day.

THE Rhino Powerlifting Club South Africa (RPC) hosted Girl Power u-12 on August 9 in Pretoria, an annual competition to commemorate Women’s Month.

Pit Bull Gymnasium was well represented and the results are:

• Lizette Bester: fourth in her division, squat 80kg, bench press 40kg and deadlift 105kg

• Abigajil Kirchner: first in her division, squat 80kg, bench press 40kg and deadlift 120kg

• Yolande van den Berg: first in her division, bench press 30kg

• Melissa Stander: fourth in her division, squat 75kg, bench press 45kg and deadlift 110.5kg

• Natasha Stander: first in her division, squat 90kg, bench press 55kg and deadlift 137.5kg

• Marizaan Visser: second in her division, squat 55kg, bench press 37.5kg and deadlift 97.5kg

RPC also hosted Girl Power in other cities, such as Durban, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
