Rest in peace, Wilie Cordier

Willie led community prayer initiatives and was involved with many of the church’s projects.

Willie Cordier was born on April 1, 1939 and at the age of 80 returned to his eternal home on July 2.

He was a resident of Alberton for over 40 years.

After going on a pension from Bandag he got involved with AFM Revival City Alberton.

Being involved with the church he started a soup kitchen, led community prayer initiatives and was involved with many of the church’s projects.

He was a pillar of strength and would also greet you with a friendly smile and handshake as you arrived at church on Sunday.

To his family he was a man of integrity, faith, and always willing to help where he can

He will be missed by his nine children, 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
