BLASTING activities related to the Rand Water C25 steel pipeline Portion B project will take place on Thursday, September 26 from 11am to 12pm and 3pm to 4pm.

Due to the high-risk factors during blasting, community members are advised not to be within the vicinity of the blasting area, which will take place near the shooting range at Swartkoppies Road. Residents nearest to the blast will be those who live in Liefde en Vrede and Brackendowns. Residents are further requested to ensure all household pets and livestock should not graze alongside the area.

The area will be barricaded during the blasting time. Community members will be given an alert through a siren which will be sounded 10 minutes prior to the blasting time.
