Four killed in Vosloorus car accident

VOSLOORUS – Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Barry Marais Road in Somalia Park, Vosloosrus on January 30.

Upon their arrival at the scene they found that a minibus had overturned, resulting in four people tragically losing their lives. Three people were found to be in a critical condition and eight people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.

All the injured were treated on the scene before they were transported to the hospital for further medical care.

Exact details of the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
