Albertonians have their say on Black Friday
The RECORD took to the streets and gave its readers an opportunity to have their say on Black Friday.
Following the mad rush of Black Friday, which fell on November 29, the RECORD took to the streets and gave readers an opportunity to have their say on this day.

“This is just a sales strategy because businesses know that employees now have their bonuses. This is something that happens without having budgeted for it.”

“I’m not prepared to buy anything. I think people are just blowing their budget on buying things on this day.”

“I think this is a good thing even though some shops do not give us more discounts. It’s advantageous since people are able to get things at affordable prices.”

“I believe this day lures people into buying. You have to be money smart with Black Friday.”
