Alberton Lions Club recently inducted three of its new members to their club.
The induction of new members has resulted to a total of 43 members of Alberton Lions, making it the largest club in the district.
Tammy du Plooy, Lions Club president, said they will continue serving the less fortunate in the community as they have done for the past 49 years.
“This may be attributed to the drive and enthusiasm evident in the club. It is also the volume of service we are to perform in our community with the increase in members.
“The Alberton Lions Club actively engages in projects covering hunger, environment, diabetes, vision and paediatric cancer,” she said.
