Ladies learn to line dance

Ladies at the Alberton Women's Connection enjoyed a fun morning learning how to line dance.

February 12 saw the ladies from the Alberton Women’s Connection line dancing and listening to Val Martin’s at the Brackenhurst Bowling Club.

This was a special Valentine’s meeting with the ladies dressed to impress. Snacks and tea were served and enjoyed, while Val spoke about her very hectic and exciting life – a journey to be remembered.

Trotting into March the Alberton Women’s Connection will meet on March 12 at 09:00 for 09:15. The ladies will enjoy tea and goodies, while S.ARDA’s Julia Morris tells about the excellent work she and other volunteers do with incapacitated children, using ponies.

Sue Pearson will also share her experience with an elephant.

The Brackenhurst Bowling Club is situated on the corner of Albert and Malherbe streets, Brackenhurst. Entrance is R35 per person and reservations are essential. Contact Kathy 083 300 0014 or email theil@telkomsa.net for more information.
