Roads damaged by heavy rain

MOTORISTS at the corner of Abraham and Hudson streets had to drive on the wrong side of the road, while trying to avoid the deep trench caused by the heavy rain experienced on Saturday March 8.

In lower Abraham Street at the corner of Peterson Street storm water flushed off the top layer of the tarred road. Evidently the heavy flows of storm water is mainly caused by the many blocked water drains.
