Young security member shot dead near Comaro Road

Comaro – While doing patrols on the N12 West, members of a security company noticed two black men standing next to a street light pole on the freeway at around 4:00 on May 16.

The security company members stopped to perform a search as they suspected the men of wanting to steal cables.

As the men approached the security members, one of them pulled out a firearm and shot a security member three times. The 23-year-old white male died on the scene.

The Alberton police opened a murder docket and is investigating. No one was arrested.
