Alberton Dam’s zoo cleaned up

Hester Coetzee is a resident of Raceview who was concerned about the state of the part of Alberton Dam where the animals are kept, over the weekend of July 5.

ALBERTON – She felt sorry for the animals that were drinking out of the water that was covered with a mud-like surface.

To her surprise, over the weekend of July 12, she noticed that the section had been cleared of the mud where the animals feed.

The facility is clean. It can be visited and enjoyed by locals in the area.

“I was really surprised that it was cleaned up so nicely,” said Hester Coetzee.
