Drain dug out and abandoned

EdenPark – A resident staying near the abandoned drain who asked not to be named, said: “A five-year old child almost drowned here.”

The resident continued: “This is a dangerous risk for children in this area. The council workers arrived here months ago to unblock the drain. As you can see, they dug out the entire drain, left it open and as they commonly do, never returned to finish their job.”

Many bystanders wanted to know why the Metro Council is not sending out inspectors to check if worker have completed what they are supposed to fix.
