In order to ensure efficiency and effective control and planning at first line management level, EMPD management prioritised the urgent appointment of 13 Chief Superintendents.

ALBERTON – The majority of these appointments will be deployed in the operations division. The appointees were promoted from within the organisation with effect from September 1.

All the new appointments, except for three, will be working in the operations division. The three have been deployed in logistics, internal prosecution and data management.

Ahead of their challenging responsibilities, the new Chief Superintendents will undergo intensive training at EMPD Academy to hone up their managerial, technical and communication skills.
