Women’s Connection Spring Fair

A delight for all as different stalls sold various items at this month's meeting

Alberton – The Alberton Women’s Connection held their annual Spring Fair in the Brackenhurst Bowling club’s hall on Wednesday September 10.

The hall was beautifully decorated in lilac with complementary Wisteria sprays gracing the tables. Stalls included jewelry, baked goods, sewing, books, the white elephant stall, homemade yoghurt and plants.

The ladies also ran a raffle with five excellent prizes – all this to raise funds for Stonecroft Ministries. As usual, after the hectic shopping spree had died down, the ladies enjoyed a scrumptious tea and settled down to listen to Gail Jones, a local artist give her testimony.

Judging by the smiles and laughter, a fine time was had by all and many a bargain struck.
