Comrades runner needs your assistance

GLENVISTA – He is desperately looking for more work and can assist with handyman jobs, such as cleaning windows, washing carpets and cleaning cars.

Thulane’s dream is to be able to compete in the 2015 Comrades Marathon but to enable him to do this he needs to purchase a running kit and running shoes. He also needs money for his entry fee and travel to and from the race.

“It’s expensive to enter the Comrades Marathon and I really want to enter for next year. Up to now I’ve run nine Comrade Marathons and received nine medals and if I can run next year I’ll qualify for my green number,“ he said.
