A church just for children
Every child must have a good education, but must also have a sound foundation.
EDENPARK – Three years down the line, this woman’s dream to establish a church for children is paying off and her congregation is growing steadily. Pastor Annah Nhrarel said she always had a vision of having a church specially for children, where they can be taught and moulded with a sound foundation and the true meaning of the Holy Bible.
In 2011, with permission from parents in her neighbourhood, she started the church for children. The children who form the congregation of the church, are aged between eight and 16. There are currently 30 children who attend weekly church services.
“I teach the children about the word of God from the Bible and I also teach them how to understand the Bible and what they read. I believe that every child must have a good education, but must also have a sound foundation and knowledge of our Lord Christ. They will grow up in a Christian way and will have less time for wrong doings,” she said.
