Newspaper office closes

Please note that our offices will close on Friday, December 19 and that the paper of the December 17 is our last for 2014.

ALBERTON – Thank you to all our advertisers, readers, social clubs and organisations, schools and sport clubs, and everyone else who contributed to our paper throughout the year for their support. You all made the journey this past year one worthwhile remembering.

We will be back for business as usual on Friday, January 2, 2015.

Although our newspaper will not be printed during this period, our online team will still be on duty, for any breaking news in the area please send an alert to Clyde Meela, the Online Project Manager for the RECORD on 071 485 6951 or 084 607 7010.

May you all have a peaceful festive season and whether or not you take to the long road or remain at home – may it be a safe and blessed holiday.
