Eden Park top Matriculant
Tuesday January 6 was a day of happiness and jubilation at Eden Park Secondary School when the outgoing headmaster, Bennie Louw announced the pass rate for the Matric class of 2014 which was 91. 2 per cent.
EDEN PARK – For the Grade 12’s who passed and attended the joyous celebration at the school, it was joy and happiness. But for the shy, soft-spoken girl of Daf street, Viyola van Zyl, her pass was just one other achievement as usual. She attained six distinctions.
Her tearful and happy mother said, “I knew she was going to pass her Matric. She has been a top achiever from Grade 1. She is a hard worker who only has time for her school work.” Well done girl.
