10 injured in Vosloorus crash

VOSLOORUS – The impact involved two motor vehicles and resulted in one car leaving the motorway and colliding with four children on the sidewalk.

Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded and found that the injuries of the children and motorists ranged from moderate to serious. The four children and six occupants of the two vehicles were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.

Exact details surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation. Traffic was affected, while the patients were treated and recovery of the two vehicles was completed.
