Eskom has just declared that stage one load shedding will take place from 14:00 today. Please refer back to the load shedding schedule to see when your area will be affected.

Eskom tweeted that as the system remains constrained there is a high possibility that the status will be changed to stage two for this evening.

A medium to high probability of load shedding was estimated this morning with Eskom asking that customers use electricity sparingly to help reduce electricity demand.
