Siyakhula is found in Hillbrow Place of Safety

Family pleased after Siyakhula Mathebula is found

AFTER almost a week, Siyakhula Mathebula (10) from Maffatview has been found. He was found in Hillbrow Place of Safety on Thursday June 18.

It is not yet clear how he got to Hillbrow, however, the child’s neighbour, Mandisa Shezi who is with his mother and Moffatview Police, said a policeman from Pretoria phoned them to convey the good news. “While we were searching we got a call from a policeman in Pretoria telling us that Siyakhula is in Hillbrow. We raced there and we found him,” explained Mandisa.

Siyakhula disappeared from their home along Grootvlei Road, Moffatview, on Friday, June 12. He was playing games on his mother’s phone after he had returned home from school, when there was an incoming call and he handed the phone to his mother. That’s was the last time he was seen before he disappeared.
