Resident celebrates selfless birthday
An Alberton resident, Cindy Moriarty, recently celebrated her birthday and, in a selfless act, made sure that the day was not only a happy one for her.
ALBERTON – Instead of receiving gifts on her birthday, she asked family and friends to rather spend money on buying a few goods for the Alberton SPCA.
Cindy made the lives of the unfortunate pets, which were abandoned by their owners, happier.
“The Alberton SPCA would like to thank Cindy for her wonderful initiative of donating the goods to us,” said Adri Louw, acting chairperson of Alberton SPCA.
