Ismail Desi, his brother-in-law, sent the RECORD an SMS saying that Essop was found on Saturday, November 7. The SMS further stated: “He is safe, thank you for all the help and support.”

Essop went missing last week and from bank statements the family ascertained that he had reportedly withdrawn money in Florida in the West Rand as well as in Rivonia.
