Victim support unit bids farewell to two members

As two of the members are leaving the Brackendowns victim support unit, the unit is in need of more volunteers. If you are interested, please contact Captain Trevor Bohler at 082 967 7986.

ALBERTON- It is with great sadness that Brackendowns Victim Support Unit bids farewell to two of its members.

Graham and Anne Nicholls joined the support unit about two years ago as volunteers. Graham was an active debriefer in the community during this time. Anne and Ellen Kruger set up a team which assists and visits elderly and disabled residents.

Anne and Graham are moving to another area and staff members from Brackendowns Victim Support Unit wish them well in their new endeavours.

If anyone, who is a resident in the Brackendowns policing area, would like to volunteer to assist Brackendowns Victim Support Unit and has their own transport, please contact Captain Trevor Bohler on 082 967 7986.
