Lusito Crafters market now open

EAGER crafters and private sellers gathered at Lusito’s very first crafters market, selling products which symbolized the approaching Christmas season.

With the months of the year passing by so fast, the crafts that were exhibited at the Lusito Association for the Physically and Mentally Handicapped school grounds in Regents Park, came just in time for consumers to get in some early Christmas shopping.

“We welcome everyone to our crafters market,” said Suzy de Lima, who was one of the organisers of the successful event. “This is the first time that we’ve introduced the crafters market, so the ladies attending the brunch can also do some shopping.”

Belem Bakery had a stall at the Lusito market as well as at another market in Meyersdal, said that their aim was to not only make a profit through being at such events but also to contribute more to the Lusito School and the community.

Attendees were also treated to a pamper session, getting a free hand and neck massage compliments of the Pyramid Spa.
