Alberton toastmasters is a club of sorts that aim to improve thinking, listening, and speaking skills, as well as how to make a mean "potjie".
ALBERTON Toastmasters is a club that aims to improve thinking, listening, and speaking skills, as well as how to make a mean potjie.
They meet Thursdays at 18:45 for 19:15 at the Alberton retirement village, 45 Kritzinger Avenue, Florentia.
Toastmasters also take part in social events and will be holding their annual potjiekos competition on Sunday, February 21, in Verwoerdpark.
Their annual evaluation and English competition will be held on March 17, and they will be celebrating their 700th meeting and 30th year of Toastmasters on April 7.
