The Alberton police have arrested two women for cultivating dagga

THE Alberton police recently arrested two women for cultivating dagga. While doing social crime prevention visits on March 11, Sergeant Phora Nkuna and Sergeant Phumza Mgedezi noticed two neighboring houses with gardens full of dagga trees. The two called for back-up and Warrant Officer Thomas Ngobeni and Warrant Officer Babsy Bapela responded. They then arrested two women aged 50 and 26. The two appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court on Monday, March 14.
