Man attacked by three dogs

"They were biting me everywhere and I had to try and fight them off while screaming for help."

ADOLF Swartz (60) from Eden Park survived an attack by three vicious dogs and describes the attack as horrific.

“How I survived the attack is still a mystery to me. The dogs could easily have killed me,” Adolf said.

On Friday, March 18, he decided to visit a friend to enjoy the start of the long weekend. On his way back at about 22:00 he was attacked by three pit bulls when he was just three houses away from his home in Alder Street.

“The street I live on is very quiet, especially the upper section where I stay. I was the only person in the street at the time when suddenly the three pit bulls jumped over the fence and attacked me. They were biting me everywhere and I had to try and fight them off while screaming for help.

“One man heard my screaming and came to my rescue by throwing stones at the dogs. I was bitten on my legs and arms but luckily not my face,” Adolf said.

Adolf told the RECORD that the owner of the dogs took him to the hospital and promised to pay for all the medical expenses.
