The Hair Academy of South Africa celebrates graduation

The Hair Studio of South Africa celebrated the graduation of nine of its students on Thursday, April 14, at the Mad Platter, in Alberton.

When they started their studies in 2013, there were 21 students, and only nine made it to graduation.

The top performer was Megan Valentine with a 91% aggregate over the three years, while second place went to Denise Pillay with 90.5%, and third to Stevolene Busby with 90%.

Festivities got under way with the principal of the Academy, Jacqui Skinner, welcoming all the students and their families, followed by the certification handover and photographs.

After all the formalities were over, everyone got to chatting, drinking and eating, making sure to put the massive spread available to good use.
