Domestic workers help in fight against crime

Domestic workers from Verwoerdpark have been holding meetings to discuss crime and safety tips with one another.

DOMESTIC workers from Verwoerdpark have been holding meetings to discuss crime and safety tips with one another.

“Employers are encouraged to let their employees join this forum as it is informative. We had one unfortunate incident whereby a domestic worker opened for criminals and if she was a member she would have known better what to do in that situation,” said Alberton SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Phora Nkuna.

The next meeting will be held on Sunday, April 17, at the NG Kerk Verwoerdpark at 10:00. Everyone is welcome.
