The next intake of five students will be on Thursday, May 5. This eight-week course is offered every Thursday from 09:00 to 11:00.

The programme of teaching is as follows:

1. Basic speech training i.e. how to approach someone, as well as telephone etiquette.

At the end of the eight weeks, the students will complete a written and practical exam and receive a certificate.

Anyone who would like to bring their domestic worker for training, may do so. The cost is R700 for the course.

If the domestic worker is not employed and they come themselves, the training is free.

“Once our participants are trained, if anyone is interested in employing one of them, they must pay R700 to the worker,” van Rensburg said.

For further information, contact Lynette van Rensburg, during office hours, Monday to Friday on 011 867 4225.
