Foster parent training offered

CMR (Christelike Maatskaplike Raad) Alberton is offering foster parents training that will run for eight weeks, weekly from June 1.

The training will cover the legal aspects of the children in terms of the Children’s Act 38/2005 as amended, attachment, communication and parenting skills.

The training will be at a cost of R50 per person to cover handouts and refreshments. The training will be held at NG Church Thokoza. The facilitator/social worker Ms Delly Mahlakwana is contactable on 011 907 2922.
