HIJACKINGS are on the increase in Eden Park and another Tazz was recently hijacked.
On Tuesday, May 10, at 10:50, a visitor from Malvern in Johannesburg was hijacked in Lambretta Street. His silver grey Toyota Tazz was taken by two armed hijackers.
The victim was in his car, waiting for his girlfriend, when two armed men appeared out of nowhere and instructed him to get out of the vehicle.
According to the police report, one of the suspects also went through the victim’s pockets before they jumped into the care and drove off.
According to the victim, everything happened so quickly that it was over in a matter of minutes. The suspects are unknown to the victim and SAPS is investigating.
