Suspect stole several items

He was arrested by CPS Security.

A SUSPECT was arrested on Wednesday, June 1, following a call from a CPF member regarding a suspicious man pushing a green dustbin down Klipriver Drive .

CPS Security’s reaction units were dispatched and the suspicious man was stopped and questioned. The dustbin was filled with electronics from the house and also power tools.

According to Tyrone van der Merwe, from CPS, the suspect took them to the property from where the items were stolen in the Albertsdal area.

The suspect was arrested by Geoff Steyn, CPS officer, for housebreaking and possession of stolen items.
