THE POLICE recently held their monthly meeting with second-hand goods shop owners to discuss challenges that both sides experience in their work environment.

The aim is to close the market for stolen goods and to help each other in the fight against crime.

“All second-hand shop owners have a responsibility to register their businesses with the police. Sergeant Fatiwane Mukosi will assist them in registering their businesses at Alberton SAPS, and can be contacted on 011 861 6856,” says Sergeant Phora Nkuna, spokesperson for the Alberton SAPS.
