Local residents celebrate 53 years of marriage

RUTH Dale (76), a patient at the Stepping Stone Hospice In-Patient Unit in New Market Park, and her husband Clive (78) celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on Wednesday, July 6, in the hospice gardens.
A communion service, held by pastor John Rose from the Elohim congregation in Meyersdal, was held and the couple, surrounded by their children, grandchildren, family members and friends, shared fond memories of their years together.
Their recipe for marital success: “A lot of love, care and prayer,” says Ruth.
