Rhema in concert to raise funds
The Rhema Varrie concert is set to take place in September.
RHEMA Varrie will be taking centre stage at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena with a purpose in September.
The Rhema Varrie Concert will run over three nights and will be driven as a positive influence concert. It will aim to impact on the massive surge of teenage drug and substance abuse, teenage suicide, school dropout rate, and gangsterism.
“Anything you can perceive you can achieve. We all have a right to dream and achieve lofty dreams,” said Rhema.
To add flavour to the event, a number of renowned artists will also be featuring and patrons can expect songs like Michael Jackson’s ‘Man in the mirror’, Bruno Mars’ ‘I want to be a millionaire’ and a new song written by Rhema. The Rhema Foundation aims to raise funds for 15 schools and community upliftment organisations with the concert. A coordinating committee consisting of delegates from the schools and community organisations will assist the Rhema Foundation throughout the project.
Anyone interested in coming on board as a sponsor can contact Rhema’s father, Larry Varrie, via email at varrie.larry@gmail.com or call 061 095 7061.
