THIS woman is wanted by the Alberton SAPS in connection with a case where money was stolen.
A member of the public applied for a loan through a loan company. The loan was approved but she never received the money.
The applicant was tricked into giving out personal details before the money was transferred into her account, only to find out that the transfer was diverted into another account.
It is believed that the women in the photograph will be able to assist SAPS in solving the case. SAPS managed to make contact with the woman and she agreed to come into the station to assist in the investigation. Follow-up efforts to reach her have failed since SAPS could not reach her on the number they had, nor at the address she gave up. A second address given to SAPS does not exist.
“We request anyone who can help SAPS to locate the woman to contact Detective Constable Justice Madimetja Matlala on 061 728 6313 or 011 865 7400,” said Sgt Phora Nkuna, communications officers.
The public is reminded that those willing to assist SAPS with information may choose to remain anonymous.
