Dancers rake in medals

The Just Gotta Dance Studio entered two dances. Rache and dance partner Marius Pieterse, together with Marie van der Linden, took nine medals.

ALBERTON’S dancing sensation Rache Baragwanath scooped first place in SADF Gauteng ProAm Social Faculty Winter Festival dancing competition. The competition was held on July 16 at the Dance Junxion Studio in Bryanston.

The Just Gotta Dance Studio entered two dances. Rache and dance partner Marius Pieterse, together with Marie van der Linden, took nine medals. Rache danced in the Bronze Final Level and was placed first in the Latin categories for samba and mambo as well as cha-cha, rumba and jive. They were awarded second place in the ballroom section for waltz, tango and quick step.
