Campaign to inform residents

Stakeholders recently united to inform residents about community issues.

GAUTENG Province, Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality and Eden Park SAPS in partnership with Eden Park Victim Support Centre recently embarked on a campaign to keep residents informed.

During the campaign, information desks were set-up by different partners giving information on issues to bring awareness to the community. Mobile clinics were set-up for HIV testing, blood pressure, sugar level testing and general health check-ups.

Gauteng Province brought awareness on road safety, crime, alcohol and drug abuse, dealing with abuse and domestic violence and the protection of the elderly.

On site was also a mobile office of Home Affairs to give advice and information to many first-time applicants of ID cards, and Eagle Excellence Hospice shared information about their services.
